Personal Learning Planning is a very important process.

Your discussions with your teacher on your progress to date should centre on your current knowledge, expertise and skill. You should talk about what you have learned and how - where your strengths and weaknesses are and how an improvement can be made.

Your Next Steps should be planned and you should focus on who and what can help. Don't be afraid to involve your classmates. You must learn to self-evaluate and plan, building a record of your own progress, achievements and difficulties.

As a learner, you have to contribute to the recording, monitoring and decision-making and goal-setting process.
