GENERAL PERFORMANCE
As far as we know NLC is the only Council which provides an opportunity for all of its P7 pupils
to attend a residential course each year.
Also, we believe that we charge less than any other authority in Scotland for a similar course.
We aim to have every P7 pupil in North Lanarkshire attend each year. Over the last two years we have had the vast majority of North Lanark primaries attending with only 3 out of 127 unable to come this year.
Kilbowie has held an Adventurous Activities Licensing Service License since 1996.
AALS carries out inspections and licenses centres on behalf of HSE. A license ensures that the centre is managed and run in a safe and appropriate manner and that the activities are provided by trained and competent staff.

We are inspected annually and so far have been awarded a license with either an excellent or good report with only minor improvements suggested.
Kilbowie has a team of 11 highly qualified permanent instructors committed to ensuring that courses provided
are safe, enjoyable and tailored to your needs.
We also use a number of highly trained freelance instructors.
