As part of the Computer Centre's Apple Regional Training Centre status we are able to offer a number of free twilight CPD opportunities to staff using Apple products. These courses will be delivered at no cost to schools as Apple will pay for the costs of the training. All of the courses will have a strong focus on learning & teaching.
We now have an Authority licence for Comic Life for both Mac and PC Users so it can be installed on multiple computers in schools. We also now have an Authority licence for all schools for iWorks which is the replacement for AppleWorks.

The refurbishment of Caldervale HS means that we will be delivering most of our training this session at St. Barbara's PS in Muirhead. However to enable staff who are not within easy travelling distance of Muirhead (taking into consideration the extensive roadworks on the A80 and M73) we will be delivering some training at the joint campus for Wishaw Academy PS and St. Ignatius PS.
We plan to duplicate our Apple RTC (Regional Training Centre) courses and our FirstClass RWD (school website development) courses so participants can choose the venue most suitable to them.
All courses should be booked through CPD Manager in the usual way. There is no charge for these courses. The RWD courses are meetings where participants can drop in. Below are listed the courses and dates we will run at each venue. All courses run from 3.45pm to 5.30/5.45pm.
