Please note if you are using a Macintosh computer you need an operating system of 10.4.11 or above to run the SMARTBoard software.
The latest version of the Smartboard software needs an operating system of 10.5 or above on a Macintosh computer.

For Health & Safety reasons we recommend the mounting of a short-throw projector where possible. You should allow approx £450 for all the cabling and electrics for this on top of the price of the board and projector.

SmartBoard 600i (64")
The SMART Board 600i interactive whiteboard system combines two products – a SMART Board interactive whiteboard and the Unifi projector with an integrated audio system – into one easy-to-use and easy-to-install package. The Unifi projector mounts directly above the interactive whiteboard – no complicated wiring or ceiling-mounting is required.
The Unifi projector has a two-year warranty but only has a 90-day or 500-hour warranty on the lamp.
Many of the short-throw projectors have a 3 year warranty on both the projector and the bulb so they are a much better buy for a classroom situation.
The SMART Board interactive whiteboard has a two-year standard warranty and a five-year warranty upon product registration.
As this is a new product if you are thinking about purchasing a 600i please phone and discuss it with a Development Officer as a number of schools have had problems with these systems.
Hitachi EDA 100 Projector, SMARTBoard 600 (64") & installation
This setup combines a short throw projector and SMARTBoard.
The projector is mounted on the wall above the SMARTBoard.
It requires no bracket or electrical point on the ceiling.
We strongly recommend this type of installation as it has much less health and safety issues compared with mobile solutions or ceiling mounted solutions.
This projector provides a high quality image with virtually no shadow and no blinding light.
SMART Sympodium
Interactive presentation lectern. With magnetic resonance pen and all cables. With the SMART Sympodium you can write electronic notes and control your computer while facing your audience.
The interactive screen connects to your computer and displays its image. Using the attached stylus, you simply touch the screen to control applications and write notes.

The Airliner The AirLiner WS100 wireless slate is a tablet that enables you to manipulate and select on-screen objects, create and save notes, launch applications and much more.The AirLiner uses SmartBoard software. It has a tethered pen, a cordless mouse, customisable function buttons and a touch- sensitive tool strip.
The slate communicates wirelessly with your computer and is powered by a rechargeable battery. You can therefore work remotely from the monitor or interactive whiteboard
without any physical communications between the slate and your computer and without an external power source.

The Digimemo Digitally captures and stores everything you write or draw on A4 paper.
The DigiMemo A402 provides a digital record of any notes or drawings that are made on A4 paper allowing anyone to take notes anywhere then transfer them to a word processing document. The Digimemo converts handwriting into printed text (PC only) and sketches into digital images. The Digimemo can store up to 999 pages.
The Digimemo connects to either a Mac or PC, but some features, such as handwriting recognition and acting as a graphics tablet, are only available when using the Digimemo with a PC.
Your pages can be saved as PDF files or the text can be exported to a word processor (PC only).
