Which versions of OS 9 does Successmaker run in?
Successmaker will run on an operating system of OS 9.2
It will not run now in OS 9.0 or 9.1
Can I run Successmaker in OSX?
The version of Successmaker we currently has does not run natively in OSX.
You can run Successmaker in OSX if your computer is capable of running OS9 in Classic Mode.
On the very latest cloned computers you may find the Successmaker icon on the dock.
The first time you click on this icon you will find instructions telling you how to run the initial configuration
You will also find a file and installtion instructions for running Successmaker in OSX in the ICT Co-ordinators forum of FirstClass.
To access this forum double click on the Computer centre Icon and then ICT Co-ordinators.
You should be able to find an e-mail from Ann McCabe with ths required file and installation notes attached to it.
Can I run Successmaker on a PC with the XP operating system?
No the version of Successmaker we currently have does not run in XP
Can I run Successmaker on an Intel based MacBook?
No the version of Successmaker we currently have does not run on an Intel based iMac or MacBook
I am getting the message cannot find CAi1 or history. What is wrong?
Successmaker needs to connect to your school server every time you access it to get a couple of folders called sharepoints.
Cai1 contains all the course materials and history contains all the user's data.
Both of these sharepoints must be present for Successmaker to run.
Check that your computer is connecting to the Network by either airport or ethernet cable.
The best way to check this is to see if you're getting e-mail or Internet access.
If that isn't the issue on an OS 9 computer restart and make sure you login with the username of success1 and the password of success1. |
